Marie Rowe

With over thirty years of industry experience, Marie Rowe brings a keen eye and sharp intuition to every project she touches. With a knack for discovering raw talent and matching it with the perfect role, she has earned a reputation for impeccable casting choices and dedication to excellence.

In her podcast “From Coventry to Hollywood” Marie describes her journey from England to a rich and rewarding career in the film and television industries in Canada and America, working with major stars including Dustin Hoffman, Tom Cruise, Robin Williams, Warren Beatty, Robert DeNiro and Michael Douglas.  In Toronto she was a production manager in the Drama and Variety Departments of CBC-TV before she moved to Los Angeles and a job in marketing and film distribution with the Samuel Goldwyn Company. This led to work in film and TV productions as writer, casting director, publicist, producer, and actress. She has worked primarily with writer/director Barry Levinson on many of his films, including the award-winning Good Morning, Vietnam, Rain Man, Avalon, and Disclosure.
